The Historical Society honored The Greenbrier Companies as an International Leader in the Transportation Industry, highlighting the company's growth over the past century to become a leading international supplier of equipment and services to global freight transportation markets. As the Society noted, the Lake Oswego headquartered company employs nearly 12,000 people across the globe, including many Oregonians.
